Here's Life In Two Dimensions, my first ever Game Jam project. Hope you enjoy! You might experience slight bugs while playing.

Controls:
WASD or Arrow Keys for movement.
Left Mouse Button for shooting.
Space Bar for jumping.
E button for interacting with portals.

Install instructions
Unzip the downloaded file, and then click on LifeInTwoDimensions.exe, then you should be able to start playing.

What a charming little game, with well-crafted platforming!
I'll confess I didn't have the patience to finish it; I think starting all the way over off of only 3 lives is a little brutal, but I made it to the first bat enemy. Anybody who likes platformers should definitely give this a shot!
Thank you for your feedback! I should implement "get x amount of points, earn 1 life" so that it's less brutal.
